How to do announcements?

Dear Sugar Team

Thanks a lot for the lovely product. I have a question. If my Sales Head want to announce a competition or saya promotion announcement to reach every one, is there any way we can do it in Sugar? We want to avoid emailing it to everyone a better and novel way would be the announcement drops in my Home as either A Task or A Note or A notification kind of?

Is there any way to achieve this without email?

Hello Ajay,

if you are using SugarCRM Pro/Ent, then if users have the Team Notices dashlet on the homepage, you can post a team notice to everyone or only a specific group.

If you are using CE and you have the Feed enabled, then you can post on the Feed. Users would also have to have the My Sugar Feed dashlet on their homepage to view this.
