How do I add Fields to the Quick Form?

I am trying to increase the number of Fields in the Quick Form so that we bypass the Edit tab in the new accounts and contacts modules. Does anybody know how to add these fields in the Quick Form on the left side of the panel?

Not sure what version you are using but I made a customization for that on version 4.2.1b on the Contacts tab by going to the ContactFormBAse.php file and editing a function called getFormBody

Try working off of this... if you can't get it I can go back to my old version and try to type up a more detailed doc on how to do it.

I am currenty working on customizing version 4.5.1a but haven't gotten to that yet.. maybe it is the same..
