How do I assign 2 users to a lead simultaniously?

I have to assign 2 users to a lead and Im wondering how I can do this? Is there a module or will I have to do some custom coding?

Take a look at the TeamsOS module, but be forewarned that last I remember, the 5.0 compatible version was being worked on. Check out sugarforge.org for the latest.

The other option is to use Pro or Enterprise as they both include that functionality.

I dont believe that the teams module will work for me. I need to assign a sales agent and an appraiser to the same lead but it will rarely be the same agent and appraiser.

Does anyone have any idea how difficult it would be to customize 4.5.1j to be able to assign multiple users to a lead?

You can put another "Assigned to" field in the Leads module. This way you can select the first User with the default Assigned to field, and the second User with the custom "Assigned to 2" field.

I'm using SugarCRM CE5.0.0d. I have done: admin>studio>MODULE(opportunity in my case)>field>add Field
Field Name: DBFIELD_NAME(customer_assigned_id)
Dispaly Label: DBFIELD_LABEL(assigned customer)
Max Size: 100

then a "assigned_customer_id_c" field appeared on the top of the list. then i have introduced the custom codes in the directory:
c:\Program Files\Wanp\SugarCRM\Modules\opportunities\.pre_500

The customed field was created in the module as expected but the dropdown list doesn't appear. No select neither clear were created. I don't know what should be corrected. Please help.
