How do I create a copy of a base module to modify and generate a new module?

Hello,

We are trying to create a new module to keep track of certain things, the new module is very much like the Meetings in the activities section of SugarCRM so I wanted to generate the new module by generating a copy of the existing Meetings module and adjust it to the new purpose, Module Builder has some templates but none of the available matches so closely the Meeting module thus the idea of finding a way to create a template based on Meetings module.
