Default How do I log a call?

    Hello folks,

I am new to sugarcrm. I just installed the free edition on my linux box at home, imported a csv contact list successfully (was very impressed with the import feature) and want to get to work calling clients. I just called my first one and went to log details of the call and a follow-up reminder (like I would have in SFDC) and I can't see how to log a call! I know I'm just being a newbie bonehead and it's probably staring at me in the face. I did skim through the online docs and searched the forum--I just don't see the answer.

So, my question is, how do I log a call against a contact and how do I set a follow-up reminder?

    Thanks!

Go to your account which you called and under the account look for activities. Select schedule call and change the settings to "Held" There is a reminder check box. Then open the activities and you can select when the reminder can be sent. Select day, time and then select when to send you the reminder.
