Default How do I populate an existing SugarCRM installation with demo data?

We have a running Sugar 3.5.1a which was installed a long time ago without demo data. We've done some customising to logos etc. since it was installed.

What is the correct way to populate it now with demo data - we had decided not to when originally installed.

I've seen some posts about deleting demo data by re-running the installer, but obviously not about adding it later

    SugarCRM 3.5.1a
    Apache 2
    Debian Sarge

    Any advice would be welcome.

I haven't tried this, but what happens if you run /install/populateSeedData.php ?

You might need to remove/modify your .htaccess file in order to execute this file. Let me know if it does the trick!

    Sadly it doesn't work...

Even though I remove the .htacess file, set 'installer_locked' => false in the config.php it fails.

    I get error:

Warning: main(config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/SugarSuite-Full-3.5.1a/install/populateSeedData.php on line 26

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/SugarSuite-Full-3.5.1a/install/populateSeedData.php on line 26

By re-running the installer and dropping tables and installing demo data, demo data is populated....but, of course, all other data (including user accounts) are deleted....
