Question How do I reorder the address fields

    hi all,

I've just installed sugar version 5.2.0h CE and I am now trying to change the layout to meet our standards.
One of the issues we have is that the norm in Sweden is to put postal code in front of city in an address field. In SugarCRM->Contacts->primary and other address it's the other way around.

I can reorder the other fields in contacts using the studio tool but the address fields seem to be in a subpanel and I can't get to it to change the field order. Is it possible to do what I want with the studio tool?

You need to customize the DetailView.tpl and EditView.tpl on include/SugarFields/Fields/Address to accomplish your needs.
Hopefully the Address template field supports language based templates, what mean: you can copy the EditView.tpl to en_us.EditView.tpl and modify it according to your needs.
Sugar will look for a language based template before looking for the default one.

    Thanks André,

I did as you suggested, pretty straight forward but... nothing happened. I have restarted the webserver but no changes. Am I missing something?

Edit: I figured it out. I have to clear the cached pages via admin->repair

    Hi André,

I use en_us but I figured it out. I just needed to "repair" and clear the template data cache.
Everything works like a charm now

    Cheers!
