How to do Joint Searches?

Hello!

We are using the Accounts and Opportunities module (Latest sugar version 4.05d).

We have the following problem:

We would like to call everyone that is in our database whose opportunity is not closed and whose postal code is in a special area. The problem is that the postal code is in the account and the opportunity status in the opportunity module.
Currently I see no way to select either the opportunities and the accounts aka do a joint search on both of these.

Did anybody have the same problem or an idea how to solve this problem?? I am really stuck on this.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Do you use Sugar Open Source?

With the Pro/Ent edition you can create reports. See images.

You also might want to lookinto the jasper reports module in SugarForge. Although it does require more skill than the reports module in Pro/Ent versions.
