How do we import notes from SalesForce.com?

Hi All:

We need to know the best way to Import Notes and Hstory from SalesForce.com. We have imported name, contact, account information, etc. There appears to be no field for notes and history. Do we have to create new fields? Please advise on the best procedure.

You have done the easy part - the rest of the associated data is the harder part of a data migration from sf.com to Sugar. This data goes into related objects - Notes, Meetings, Calls - that are associated to the account or contact. We have developed a set of Ruby scripts to automate this process after doing these migrations for numerous clients.
