Default How to get "you've got mail" signal?

    Hi,
When working in other modules it would be great to have a function that signals when I have got a new mail. Is it possible to configure this somehow?
    Kind regards,
    Jonas

This would probably best be done by an external tool. This functionality would just add overhead to the system.

I would just search of a mail checking tool like this. It will still work like you want it to. The tool will notify you of new mail and then you just go to the email module. It will even work between page refreshes.

    Great,
Thanks for a quick reply. I am on a Mac, but I Googled apps for Mac and I believe there are quite a few options.
    Kind regards,
    Jonas
