How to implement the patch ?

Hi,

Sorry for my idiot question but who knows the process to implement a patch ?

Do I have to extract the files and upload them to my WEBsrver or is there other things to do ?

Not a stupid question, it's the first time for everybody.

With a Sugar Patch i.e. for 4.2.1a you go into the Admin function in Sugar and start the Upgrade Wizard.

You then upload the Zip file to the server and then install it, Voila!

Malcolm is right. SugarCRM documentation lacks in some places. One of them is simple patch instructions. Usually patches include "Readme files".
