    Default how to improve performance?

    I am using:
Sugar CE version 5.0.0g (Build 3391)
    mysql 5
    php 5.16
    apache 2
    centos 5

I am running sugarcrm on a server where all other PHP/MySQL applications on the server are running fast. Yet Sugar is slow and sometimes times out.

It has 450 records and is not used frequently.

Any ideas how to improve performance?

    Thanks in advance!

    Certainly doesn't sound normal.

If you search the forums for the term "performance", you should be able to find several threads on this topic, including various suggestions on improving performance.

You should also check out the wiki at www.sugarcrm.com/wiki

How much time passes for a timeout?

The following link is a good source for itmes that can help. While it's targeted for large systems, it can be helpful.
