Default How to install phpmyadmin for sugar stack? Back up??

I have installed sugar with the windows sql server stack. I do not have any working DB management program. I can not even find the correct files within the DB to back up. Backing up the database is becoming paramount. I did not think I would have so much trouble.

Is there a way to install a DB management tool that will work on this stack? How many night of sleep will I loose? And can it be done for a local Vista installation?

I have sugar installed on my local hard drive and wish to be able to manage the windows stack downloaded on the sugar download page.

I truly appreciate any pointers anyone can provide. I also believe many more people will benefit from some insight here as I have not been able to find the solution from this forum and I doubt that I am the only one needing this.

    Thank you and regards,

Forget everything you were worried about. I found the solution and it is beyond embarrassingly simple. Go to this link http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showt...922#post229922 and check out SweetTools.

Download the .zip file Open SugarCRM admin section. Go to module loader. upload sweetTools.zip file as is without unzipping. simply install that way. It unpacks and installs without human hair pulling.

Then, you will have a new entry in Admin section. Click on PHPMYADMIN and everything else is cake. And try the Extplorer function also. Great program for editing and arranging the database files. There is also an Info() function for those needing a more technical handle.

I only wish I had found this days ago.
