How to limit account and contact access from different users in Community Edition?

I am attempting to add users and I need to limit the access to contacts and accounts by user, ie. userA contacts and accounts should not be accessible to userB. Is this possible in the Community Edition ver 5.2?

Hello,

you can do this using Role Security. If you set the role to 'owner', then only the assign to user will be able to view that record. To read more about roles, click here

The sugarcane tips is pretty useful but if for some reason this does not fit your needs consider using either the Security Suite or CE Teams for SugarCRM CE 5.x
