Default how to manage b2c(business to consumer) using sugarcrm?

We have both accounts and individuals when we run the business. As we know, we can manage b2b(business to business) easily using sugarcrm. But how to manage these individuals using SugarCRM?

In my way, i intend to add one or more accounts who actually don't exist and then relate individuals to these accounts. Is it feasible?

    Any suggestions is helpful.

    Hello,

the system by default is really account centric. Since you are actually using accounts for b2b, then i would suggest creating account records for the b2c scenario (Ex: if you have John Smith, maybe create a John Smith account record in addition to a John Smith Contact record OR create something like a Smith Family account and then attach all related contacts).

SugarCane is correct ... although there are other options for information architecture depending on your requirements ... do you need to record Opportunities for your Contacts ? If not, then you can manage them as Contacts rather than Accounts.
