How to manually rebuild extensions?

I added a file (en_us.lang.php) to my custom/Extension/application/Ext/Language subdirectory and rebuilt the extensions and now I cannot get any Sugar page to come up in the browser.

I can delete this new file, but How do I manually rebuild the extensions without being able to access the Sugar web interface?

You can delete everything in custom\application\Ext\Language to manually rebuild.

Watching the apache error log when trying to log on lead me to:

/custom/application/Ext/Language/en_us.lang.ext.php. There was a line in this code filled with binary garbage. Deleting this line returned my system. I'm not sure why this happened after rebuilding my extensions.

This will probably happen again after a rebuild...you must examine the original files in custom/application/Language (or something similar, look on the wiki if in doubt)
