Hi,
This seems like it should be an easy question! The emails table is getting huge, and I would like to remove most of its contents.
Normally, I think it should get pruned -- emails with "deleted=1" would be removed by the prundb process.
However, very few records are marked for deletion. So -- how are they supposed to get marked for deletion so they can be pruned?
I note that client's campaigns are mostly in "active" status, even after they have been completed. Might that have something to do with it? Is there some place the user should be marking emails for deletion?
Otherwise -- I would like to remove them per the wiki advice here:
http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/index.p...Data_and_Files
But that only removes the ones already marked for deletion. I think that should also work by date only (ignoring the deleted field). Any downside to that?
Your response will be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
Thanks,
Liam
