How to re-assign Contacts & Open Opportunities to Account owner user

How I can do it?

May be some sql query can do it?

Can't find any working way... please help

reassigning contacts can be done with the mass-update function, just check the contacts you want to change on the ListView and then clink on actions (at the bottom) and select Mass update, then you will get a form to set the new user.

As far as creating new oppotunities with the Accounts assigned user, this is easy in Pro/Ent but requires a business logic hook be written for CE.

U are right - we can do it manually. But when i'm in the Contacts search form - I have to open every Account to see who is assigned User for this Account. There is no field - "assigned to" from Accounts module - in the "list view" of Contacts module.

It is very slowly to do it manually

Imagine we have 2000 Accounts with 5 related Contacts each and we have 50 CRM users

Now: Contacts assigned to not-same User as Account is. - almost randomly. All we have right is relationship between Accounts and Contacts (set OK) and assignment of users to Accounts (set OK).

Want to: BIG automatic mass update - (re-assigning) ---- User assigned to Contact <= user Assigned to related Account (where all assigned OK).

how to do it?
