How the "realted to" works in Email? Is voluntary blocked?

I was looking into the SugarCRM email section, trying to figure out how to assign an Inbound Email not only to a known contact, but also, for example, to his society.

I was looking to INfo@Hand commercial SugarCRM based software, and it implements this simple thing in the right way: I hope this function was not intentionally blocked

The only way I found to make "related to" works similiar to the Info@Hand's way is creating a Lead, but this way appears artificious because it's unable to maintain Society's link (in the lead create panel, society name will be a plain text, not a link as in the other sections)
