    Default How to secure SugarCRM

    Hello all,

To install Sugar CRM, it needs write permission on the modules directory and on most of the .php files in the main sugar directory (/var/www/sugar on my system).

I'd like to secure the system, but each time I change permissions Sugar gets broken. The only way to get it to work is to use something like chmod -R 777 * in my sugar directory. Of course, this leaves that directory open to anyone who logs in.

This is on a Debian Linux system running Apache2, PHP4. Thanks!
