How to set auto selecting account

Hello,

When creating contacts or opportunities in Account's detailed view, the ''Account Name'' column in the sub panel is being auto filled. This is very convenient.

However when we go to certain opportunity of any account, the ''Account Name'' column is empty when we create contact in the opportunity sub panel. Thus we need to click ''select'' and search the account name from pop up window, this is very time exhausting.

Is it possible to set the ''account name'' column to be auto filled up when we create new contact in opportunity sub panel which belongs to certain account?

Hi Jun

To continue creating a Contact through Contact Quick Create you should need to modify the "Create New" button on Contacts subpanel to pass the account_id and account_name data to Quick Create.
If you don't worry about open the Contacts Full Form you need to create a custom controller for Contacts, implement the method action_editview and fill in account_id and account_name fields.
