    Question How to set it up so user can see only his leads

    Hi,

    How to set it up so users (Employees) can see and edit only leads and acounts which are assigned to them and not all leads an accounts. I have Sugar 5.0

    This is set by Roles. Go to Admin > Role Configuration. Create a role. Once the role is created you will see a large list of modules and several options of columns, all of which have each option as "Not Set."

    To set Leads and Accounts to allow owner access--but so the owner sees no other accounts/leads--choose Owner from List, View and Edit for Leads and Accounts. Technically Edit would be unnecessary since others in the role cannot access the Account or Lead anyway, but since you asked...

    Now add the users you want to restrict to the role. Only those users in the role will have this restriction.

    This is covered in more detail in the Installation/Administration guide. The guide does not cover much administration stuff, but there is a section on Users/Roles/Teams.
