I'm considering testing SugarCRM with the inbound email option enabled. I know IMAP increases performance, but that's not what I'm curious about. I get a bajillion incoming messages a day, much of it is spam. Does inbound email only grab email from those addresses in the contacts or leads system, or are ALL email messages that come in placed into the SugarCRM inbox?
Basically, it'd be cool if Sugar managed email from leads and contacts, but let Outlook pick up and manage everything else. That'd seem the most useful paradigm.
Is that how SugarCRM does it, or is there just a river of email coming into Sugar if you turn inbound email on?
Thanks!

P.S. For real, I get 7,000+ incoming email messages a day, but I'd like Sugar to really pay attention to the 10 or 15 messages that might be from contacts I need to manage.
