Default How is Sugar handling language files?

I am developing a language pack for Sugar 5.5 and I am totally confused how updated language files are handled by Sugar. My language pack installs correctly, and the new files are installed correctly in the modules directory. However it seems that the old language files are present in cache/modules. If I delete the language files in cache/modules, new files are generated. However the generated files are not the updated files that are located in modules, but probably the old ones. I wonder how Sugar handles the updating of a language pack.

Further more the updated language files are used by Sugar only if: $sugar_config['default_language'] = 'en_us'; is set in config_override.php, and I select my native language when logging in. If I set my native langauge as the default language in Admin -> localization, the old incorrect language files are used by Sugar. This is really confusing. Any hints?

I would have to see your language file to look into this.

Wonderful! The language pack is added as an attachment.
