How to upgrade to 4.5.0f

I currently have 4.5.0 Pro.

I tried following the procedures for upgrading to 4.5.0f (using the "Admin" section) and get this error:

The zip file is missing a manifest.php file. Cannot proceed.

Indeed, there is no manifest.php file in the file I downloaded: SugarPro-4.5.0f.zip. I also tried SugarPro-Patch-4.5.0f.zip with the some results. What am I doing wrong?

the correct file that you need to use to update is "SugarPro-Patch-4.5.0f"
You need to install it using the "upgrade assiatant".
BTW the file contains contains a manifest file.

Can you make sure that Sugar is able to correctly upload and decompress the file?
- Please make sure that all folders inside your Sugar installation are writeable for Sugar.
- Please check that your tmp folder (or whichever folder your webserver is configured to use for upload) has enough free space.
- Please check that the partition where Sugar is installed has enough free space
- Please check your PHP settings (php.ini) and verify that the max_memory setting is high enough (>32MB)
