how to use iNETGoogleMap Plug-in for SugarCRM

Hello all!

I´m trying to use the module iNETGoogleMap Plug-in for SugarCRM, Version 1.5, Created By: iNET Process.
Already used "MODULE LOADER" to install it.
but.. i´m confused about the modification of config.php.
Has anybody installed and is using this module ? can you give mode onfo about the neccesary steps ti get thi odule running?

I´m trying SugarCE ver. 5.2k , applied the upgrade to 5.5, under linux Centos.
cPanel Version 11.24.5-STABLE ,cPanel Build 38506 ,Apache version 2.2.14 (Unix)
PHP version 5.2.11 ,MySQL version 5.0.89-community ,Architecture x86_64

I assume you downloaded this from Source forge.

double check that it support the 5.x versions. There is a bunch of stuff out there that is outdated and while nice to have doesn't work on the newer versions.

Just googled it and the docs look like this was written for Sugar 4.x or possible 3.X

My guess is its so out of date as to be useless.

Note that there are other projects that are up to date that do this very same thing. Can't think of which one but they are out there. You could also likely handle this by adding some custom code to activate.

1. For Google Key Go Through the link
http://code.google.com/apis/base/signup.html
2. Add Key ‘google_key’ into config.php file & assign <Google Key> as its
value.
Ex: ‘google_key’ =>’ here is the google key ’,

we have just released new version of iNETGoogleMap what we call it iNETGoogleMap2.0 with more functionalities
Now it supports accounts, contacts, leads & meetings display map in detailview
MeetingMap dashlet display Meeting between specified date.

Thanks a lot!..
I already uninstalled version 1.5 and loaded and installed the new one version 2.0.
One doubt following the installation steps in iNETFGoogleMap2.0.pdf, under "How to install", step 5 says in first paragraph "To enable iNETGoogleMap2.0 in the modules of your choice (out of Accounts, Contacts & Leads), follow the steps." ..but.. at the end of that step says "Follow the same steps to have iNETGoogleMap for Accounts and Contacts module."...and this seems contradictory to the previus one.

Is it or is it not necessary to apply step 5 instructions to modules contact and account?

yes it is necessary to follow same steps for contacts & accounts.

that was just an example of leads.

and please post any doubt or discussion on forum of projects
if any other user has same doubt, he knows the solution from that thread..
