How to use a list of users to populate a field

Hi,

In our business we have the concept of an Account Manager and an Account Director for each Account.

I can use the "assigned to" field for one of these, but how can I access a list of users to populate another field? I've created a custom field, but there does not seem to be a drop-down list that is a list of users. Neither does the "relate" field type help me.

Is there a way of doing this?
