Default How to write custom scheduler job

    Hello,

I am not very knowledgeble in writing my own php script but I will strugle through it.

I need to write a custom scheduler job function that I will add to _addjobhere in /modules/scheduler

    Sugar5.0CE

When ever a weblead is created and entered as a lead in sugar I need an email sent. How would I get that done. Or when a weblead is created with certain parameters different things happen. Please point me int right direction if specific help is unavailable.

    Thanks
    Amy

You don't need a custom job to do this. You should be using Sugar's LeadCapture functionality to get web leads added to your system. If you are using this then you can implement an automated e-mail within the leadCapture_override.php file. This is an upgrade safe way to insert your custom mailing code into the web lead capture process.

Look at LeadCapture.php to get started....
