HOWTO post a request for help that will most likely get a response

These are good rules to follow, but I dont think many people follow this (this includes me). This is more like what I do.
1) Post request to forums
2) If no responses received, nudge the request to try get an update.
3) Re-post request to forums with extra HELP! HELP! - Nice Title
4) If this also does not work, start searching for the answer!

Always, always search first. Posting without at least attempting a search is generally just a good way to bug people who know the topics exist.

I guess, if there is a kind of live chat or online chatting, people will be able to chat to each other instantly. Sometime, when you are in urgent situation, you probably want to refresh the question page again and again to see if someone is coming to answer.
