    1. If you don't come up with any useful results after your search, start a new thread and be conscious of the title you choose for the new thread.
    2. When describing the issue you have, provide as much info as possible and give a clear list of steps to reproduce.
    3. When you have received a resolution on the thread, post a message indicating if it worked or not.

Yes, I would request all to follow the Forum rules, this helps everyone - I am sure time is critical to everyone (to the newbies like us) and even more critical to the Support team members who has been so generously keeping with all our needs. Kudos to all the members who has been opening dreams by helping/supporting open source application users - you guys are great!

    Thank you once again.

I've been waiting over 19 hours for my forum thread to get approved. I even tried reposting another thread this morning. Is it normal for their to be a day or so delay on getting a simple thread approved by a moderator or do I have to have a certain activity level (Minimum # of posts) before I'm allowed to post a thread?

My thread was pretty comprehensive with all the details that would be required and more-so than most other threads that get posted so I doubt it was denied.

    Thanks!

It seems that the rules are applied not as promised. I have 17 posts, I am member from 2008. I am even developer on SugarForge. But still, my posts are delayed by 3-4 days before they appear on the forum.
If You make the rules, then You have to stick to them or abadone them.

I'd suggest to contact the community manager directly: SugarCRM Forums - View Profile: jmertic

(I'm a normal member of this forum and have no deeper influence on these rules ...)
