    Default .htaccess

    Hi Forum,

to force SugarCRM to use php5.2.1. on install one can modify the (empty) .htaccess in the installation-directory by putting in:

    AddHandler x-httpd-php5 .php

    My Question:

Is this a safe way to use php 5.2.1.? I saw that Sugar modifies the .htaccess after install.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi!

Yes, Sugar modifies the .htaccess after install.
and i had no any problems with security so i think you can use it.
BTW: you can remove .htaccess after install, sure if you want.
