HTML email templates

Hi

I'm having problems with html email templates in SugarCE 5.2f

When i copy HTML content to template, it's fine.....but then I edit this template in sugar, save and changes aren't being saved. No matter if i eidt in WYSiWYG or in HTML mode. But if I copy changed HTML content to a new template then I see the changes.

Anyone with the same problem?

I'm seeing the exact same issue right now with a 5.2.0c instance. I have to delete the template and create a new one to get it to save.

I appears to be a problem with Firefox on Linux (maybe javascript), and the HTML. Will try to do some testing to confirm that.

Hi all,

I'm having the same problem here on SugarCRM 5.2.0 CE. I can edit the email template subject but not the body. It's like there is a database setting that is keeping this as read-only, or something in the save button code that directs the software to save the changes to the database is not there.

Has anybody gotten this fixed?

Okay, problem solved when using the Safari browser. So it's a Firefox issue...

Did some more testing and on MacOS (safari and FF 3.5) works ok. On Windows XP (IE7 and FF 3.5) works ok.

Linux: Suse 11.2 (FF 3.5.6) ok, then tried on 11.1 and 11.0 with random results (it works on one machine but not the other - SUSE an FF versions are the same). Very strange. It sometimes works sometimes not.

The problem is also visible when the WYSIWYG editor is not fully loaded when editing a template. (some icons are missing).
