Humble question about search layouts in studio.

Hello board,

I've found that I can adjust search layouts in studio; e.g. right side viewable list vs. left side hidden list, and dragging and dropping between them. How can one add a field to the list that isn't there already? e.g. a field that one created?

Also, I cannot find the target list search layout in order to edit that--when can I find that one?

Customs fields should automatically be added to the right hand side list
