I can't get IMAP working

I can't get IMAP working on Version 5.2.0j (Build 5804)

I triple-checked all the Sugar e-mail server configuration
settings without success.
I tried with gmail and with my shared server.

When I'm trying to send, I get this message:
"The system is unable to send the message using the outbound email account selected in the From field. Please check the settings for the account in the Mail Accounts tab in the Settings page, or select another account to use to send the message. Click OK to return to the message."

When I'm trying to receive, I get this message:
"Test Settings
One moment please...
Testing SSL may take a long time. Please be patient."

And then, after a long, long time, (more than 30 minutes) I get this message:
"Connection failed to gmail-imap.l.google.com,993: Connection timed out
Please check your settings and try again."

I think it could be something missing in my PHP
configuration.
I can override PHP.INI settings on .htaccess

Please, can someone check this link to get my current PHPINFO in order to see if there is something wrong with my PHP installation?

Problem solved !!

I did set-up the attached simple PHP script to check IMAP connectivity on my shared server.

Connection failed due to server port blocking, then I requested port opening to my hosting provider for:

Host: smtp.gmail.com / Port: 465 (ssl)
Host: imap.gmail.com / Port: 993 (ssl)

My hosting provider did the proper job and Sugar IMAP for Gmail worked like a charm !!

Using the attached script, users will be able to know if IMAP problems (a lot of them in the forum) comes from Sugar or from the server hosting Sugar.

I expect this could be useful.
