I need to add a tab.

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a simple way for me to add a tab in sugar? I am at the end of a year and I would like to archive the data and it seems that setting up a new accounts tab called 07-08 would be the simplest way. I would like to create a copy of my current accounts tab so that all of my custom fields do not have to be recreated. is something like this an option? The old accounts tab will only need to be searched and accessed for reference and will not need to be edited in any way.

we are using a hosted open source solution and just did the latest update today.

Hi David,

I would suggest instead of going the route of adding another tab to accomplish your archiving, to add a custom field on the accounts module to distinguish between an archived and a non-archived account. You'll be able to add this new custom field to the search section and then be able to filter properly.

Adding a new tab isn't a trivial task nor is it really a recommended way to fulfill your requirement.
