iCal timezone problem

*Solved. Turned out to be a problem with date conversions combined with some customizations we had done.*

I'm viewing my tasks from sugar with Apple's iCal calendar, but there is a problem with the timezones - all of the tasks are at -4 hours from what they should be. Both applications are running on the same timezone, and the events display correctly in sugar. Any ideas why this is happening?

Edit: Tried importing the ical files into Thunderbird and Google Calendars, both of which worked. Its just the iCal application itself that doesn't seem to be working.
