    Default IE9 - Leads - email field dissapears

    I have an issue with IE9 and sugarCRM. The email field of my leads is not there when I try to edit and if try to save a lead where I know it has an email address, the email address simply disappears. I know how to come around this problem - click F12 and change the Browser mode to IE8 ( for those who don't know)

    This certainly is a IE9 problem, but how do I explain this to others, why does it happen?

    I use SugarCRM CE 5.5.4

    So the simple explanation is that SugarCRM 5.5.4 is out of date

    I dont understand why m*i*c*r*o*s*o*f*t does this, complicating things. I guess it's a way to get more hits through google
