image in email signature not showing in delivered mail

Hi

I am trying to create a email signature in my sugar system. I ad an image and in the signature create window it shows the image and in the create email it also shows. However when the mail arrives in the receivers inbox the image becomes broken.

I have tried to ways of inserting the image using images/logo.jpg and http://www.mydomain.com/images/logo.jpg

Please can some one help with an answer.

check your image url and change your image url. through attache image option.

Image url is correct. When you say attach image tool do you mean the "insert image" button on the WYSIWYG tool bar? If so I have done everything correctly but its not working.

I have this issue too. The links are not correctly constructed when sent out. I went into the users_signatures table and edited the URL. It still arrived broken. It is somewhere in the send email or and signature code. This was not an issue a few revisions back.

Sorry, same issue, so had to bump this thread.

I'm also 100% sure the IMG source is correct in the HTML.

Inteerestingly, if I view a test email that was sent from sugar with my custom sig in hotmail, you can see placeholders for the images. If I sent to a test outlook account, even the BR tags have not semeed to have registered.

FYI - I edit in html view, not using the buttons.

I am having the same problem!

Have verified that the <img> tag is correctly constructed from the HTML viewer.

One new piece of data.

I have a brand new install of 5.2.0j and the first time I sent the sig out the receiver account showed a bounding box for the image, but no image. I through that it might have taken issue with a png image so I changed it to a gif and then a jpg. In each of the subsequent attempts, not even a bounding box was seen. I sent message to an Outlook 2007 microsoft exhange mail account, an Outlook 2007 IMAP account and a gmail account. Always with the same results.

Ok, I am having the same problem, and brand new clean install of 5.2

Here is the strange thing though, the image links only break when I send from a windows machine (regardless of browser). When I send from either my Linux box or my OS X box, emails come through as intended with the images intact (again, regardless of browser)


I hope this snippet helps someone resolve this problem asap.

There was an issue with TinyMCE truncating URLs ... check the html is sent emails to make sure the image url is correctly referenced
