Image not being displayed in the signature in the received mails

Hello
I am able to create a signature an d add the images in the signature. I have placed the images in the following path :- /include/images/image001.gif

While inserting the image in the signature the following path I am assigning as :- ../include/images/image001.gif

Once I save I am able to view the image in the Signature. When I compose an email and try to add signature, I am able to view the signature. The strange problem is that I am not able to view the image in the email which is sent i.e in the receivers email i am not able to view the image in the signature.On click of the image in the email it shows the following path "https://include/images/image001.gif"

If I change the path while storing the image as www.abc.com/include/images/image001.gif, then Ia m not able to view the image neither in the signature nor in the receivers email. I understand its a path issues. But it could be very fine if some one gives their valuable ideas.

It is as you say, a paths issue. You could try storing the image in a sugarcrm subdirectory and using explicit and full urls at each point of the process
