Weirdest thing. Our business uses IMAP and Thunderbird, and has been doing so for some time now.
When I got Sugar setup, I found that IMAP isnt actually working as IMAP.
First I tested the connection which worked no problem. Then I went to download my emails but nothing showed.
So I went into Thunderbird and marked all of yesterdays messages as unread, then went back into Sugar and scanned for new messages again. Amazingly enough, all the messages showed that I marked unread.
Heres the really weird part. Its IMAP so Sugarcrm shouldnt be deleting them from the server. I went back into Thunderbird, and amazingly enough, all of the messages that Sugar downloaded are gone.
?????
Doesnt make sense.
Is Sugar trying to force people to buy their Outlook module or something? Even then, Sugarcrm deleting emails from the server defeats the purpose of IMAP.
