IMAP/POP Email not working on fresh install...

Hi everyone,

I've freshly installed Sugar 5.5.2 and I have tried to configure outgoing and incoming email using both POP and IMAP - neither works.

I have configured (Admin>Email Settings and Admin>Inbound Email) correctly and when testing the settings I recieve no errors. However, no email is either sent or received.

When I use the mail facility (Activities>Email), check email does not bring mail off the server and when I Compase an email I receive this error:
"Error emailing:An outbound mail server is not configured for outoing email for the mail account that you are using. Please select or add an outbound mail server for the mail account."
This is strange because the outbound mail server is configured and returns no errors when I test the settings.

I am at a loss to know what to do next. Has anyone had this problem and can suggest a solution?
(If you need logfile output I can supply them. PHPInfo shows that IMAP is installed and SSL is enabled).
