Might anyone be able to suggest a means of implementing user signatures for Sugar OS 4.0.1f
(I know, I know -- What a dinosaur right? Can't upgrade just yet, so please, any input would be greatly appreciated)

I know for example, that Dear $contact_first_name, in the body of an email will populate with the
contact's first name given a matching email address inthe contacts table, but I don't quite see how that
works that I might implement something like
