Import Account IDs

I have an accounts table with a field named ID. While importing I mapped it with Sugar field ID. But I cannot see it anywhere in the accounts info. There is no field as ID or Parent ID. How can I see it? I am using SugarCRM Community Edition Version 5.5.1 (Build 1202)

The ID field is an internal one and can only be seen in the database. If you want to use an external ID you have to create a custom field and map this one then to yout imported ID.
