Import Accounts

I have a csv file of accounts I would like to import, however, after importing using the imports accounts link all the data is imported into yhe wrong fields. The name field is some how combined with the address field and the city field is in the address field so on and so on.

The puzzling thing is all the fields map correctly in the "Import step 3: confirm fields and import" setp.

I am using sugar crm Version 5.1.0b (Build 4905)

Hello mdm100,

Delete all the Accounts and try to import again. Make sure that you select 'Double Quote' from the Fields Qualified By dropdown on the first import screen.

What probably happened was that one of the cells in the csv you imported was blank. By not selecting the double quote option, the blank field did not import into the field you specified, but picked up the value of the cell next to it, which resulted in data importing into the wrong field.
