Sugar Gurus,
My problem may not be unique but never the less it is a deal breaker for this project.
I am importing leads from a csv flie. In that file, I have a column that contains "builder names" and another column that contains "job address". In this case the "builder name" may be on the list once or several times. This is because of the "job address". A builder may have one or more "job address" with the "builder name" on each row.
What I need to do is import the "builder name" only once while importing all of the "job addresses". It is almost like I need to filter against "builder name" and "job address" but what I need it to do is qualify weather the "builder name" exist and if so-do not add it and then qualify against "job address" and add it if necessary-under the correct account name.
Basically what I am trying to do is group the "builder name" with all of the "job addresses". I need the builder only once but each job address must be added and not skipped.
Do I sound confused enough? What does it mean when I see under Verify duplicate entries against selected indexes Last Name, First Name? Does it mean filter against Last Name AND THEN First Name or filter against Last Name OR First Name? In my case, I think I need to filter against "builder name" and then "job address".
Please help me! I can provide information as needed. If I don't figure this out it makes the whole thing not worth it. Importing this information is the main reason for me to use sugar.
