    Hey all-

    I have seen this thread earlier but there was no resolution. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!

    Here is my issue...

    I have a list of about 100 leads I need to import into Sugar using Sugar's default lead import functionality. I want to assign these leads to the apporpriate sales reps so I have addded a field to my CSV file called "Assigned to Id" and put in the reps id from sugar (Yes I am using the correct ID). However, when I import them this way the assigned to user is blank. I have tested all the other modules and it works however there seems to be a glitch in the Leads module that does not allow me to import leads assigned to another user.

    Wondering if anyone else has seen this or has any solutions?

    I am having the same problem. For some reason, leads do not import to the correct user.

    Khalid-

    After more investigation I found that the leads are importing under the correct user in my instance....however right after you import them when it shows you the list of imported data the Assigned User field appears to be blank. But when I searched for the record it was assigned to the correct user.

    I've been trying to do this for a long time and have still not gotten it to work. It seems that no matter what I do, the assigned user field in the database is NULL. I've copied and pasted the ID into my CSV file, but the import procedure doesn't seem to recognize it.

    And although the "Assigned User" field in the detail screen shows my ID (not the one I specified for the load), the search under my ID doesn't find it. It almost looks like the detail field assigned user is defaulting to the user who modified the record.

    This is on SugarCRM 5.0 (though I never managed to get it to work on 4.5.1 either.)
