    Default Import Leads: Assigned to not coming over

    I am importing a list of Leads and have a field in the CSV file for Assigned User. I am using the "Assigned to" field when mapping the import, but all leads are coming over as assigned to me, even when a specify a default User.

    There is another option in the field select for Assigned to User, but that does not work either.

    Help!

    first you must map to assigned user field within the leads module. and you must import the user ID, not the user name. to get a list of your user's ID's and match to a name you can export your list of users to a csv.

    for some other options:

    if using PRO or Enterprise you could write workflow to assign user based on other fields.



    If not you can use the mass update panel to update the assigned to user of many leads at one time.
