Import is not doing anything

I just install sugarcrm and try to import some test account.

When I use the import tool under account with CSV file, after I map the fields. It just print a message

Import Step 3: Confirm Fields and Import Print Help


Import Started:
Thu May 10 17:54:47 EDT 2007...

Then, nothing happens. It didn't try to give me any error message.

I try it using IE7 and FireFox 2.

Any help would be great!

Just want to post that I have resolved this issue. I had a problem with my CSV file. Even it read the header correctly, it wasn't loading the data correctly. And there were no error messages.

The description field on my CSV file has mulitple lines. That was the problem.

I end up loading the data using MSACCESS and ODBC driver to connect to MYSQL.

Which version of Sugar did you install?
Recently we upgraded to 4.5.1d and having the same problem see this thread .
Just wondering if same problem exists in a full installation of SugarOS.

If anyone else is having this problem it is usually because one of the fields you are importing if violating one of the conditions of that field within Sugar. I found that i was having this problem because some of my records' last names where too long (30+ characters). I spent ages messing around with various formats for the CSV file and setting up my own error messages within the PHP code thinking it would be something more tricky.
