When transferring data over from SF, does it take all the activity history and open activities with it? I'm considering a move to Sugar but don't want to lose all that information

It is easy to bring over all Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities - but much more than that can be more difficult - usually requiring a database-level migration for all the activities and emails and their associations. I know of several Sugar partners that have migration tools they have built to speed this type of professional services work - you can PM me for info.

Take a look at Jitterbit (www.jitterbit.com). This is a data integration tool. It already has predefined packages (Jitterpaks) to transfer dta from sfdc to SugarCRM
