Import Targets Timing Out

Hello,

I am currently using Sugar 4.5.1h.

I am trying to import a very small CSV file with only 3 records to test the Import targets Wizard.

I select the CSV radio Button

continue to next page

Browse and select the CSV file to import.

Then I select Import Now.

And it going to the next page, but instead of the records that are to be imported displaying on the page along with the action buttons on the right side.

The systems just stalls or timesout.

With the message:

"Import Started"
and then the time and date.

I imported a CSV file just the other day with over 500 records and did not get any errors.

That usually means that a PHP error occurred. You might want to edit your php.ini file to send php errors to a log file and then see what that log file says after you run it again.

You could also try installing the new import module on SugarForge here

I saw this new Sugar Import module and thought my prayers were finally answered..
Maybe they still are...
I run Sugar OS 4.5.1d. When I try to upload from a local file either your new import2 CE.zip or import2c CE.zip Sugar gives the message : "The uploaded file is not compatible with this version of Sugar Suite: 4.5.1d "
Your page indicated that it is compatible with 4.5.1
Any clue what I need to do to get it installed?

Yes, the Import module is compatible with 451e and newer, there were just too many issue to go back any further than that.

Ok..I upgraded successfully to 4.5.1h and was able to upload the file.
Now when hitting install button, it returns the error "No Mode Specified"
Any idea what the handle is for that?

It loads in the module loader, not the upgrade wizard.

I am having the same problem in 5.0.0. I was able to import 31 records successfully and then it timed out. It hasn't worked since.

I downloaded the new import module and tried loading it through the module loader but it gave me the following message: The upload file is not compatible with this version of Sugar 5.0.0b. In the thread it said it should work on 451e and newer. Am I doing something wrong? If it isn't compatible, how do I change the php.ini file to send errors to a log file?
